Dot is a multi-disciplinary artist who demonstrates a versatile range of skills – from her early work in fine art as a painter through to her passion for contemporary blacksmithing. Her elegant metal designs evoke nostalgia for decorative craft with a contemporary edge as she seeks to explore the patterns and natural forms that reflect our place in the natural world and through her work with lighting, sculpture and design. She is inspired by how light as a medium is experienced in art and products that enhance our sense of wellbeing.
